Helping Families Find Rest, One Night at a Time

Hello, I'm Arlene Maynard, founder of Tiny Sleep Studio.
For over 28 years, I have dedicated my career to supporting growing families as a Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and Pediatric Sleep Consultant. Throughout my career, I have cared for hundreds of newborns—including premature infants, babies with reflux, multiples, and families with unique medical and developmental needs.
After years of helping babies establish healthy sleep habits from birth, I realized many families needed continued guidance long after the newborn stage. That's why I created Tiny Sleep Studio—a place where parents can receive compassionate, evidence-informed sleep support tailored to their child's unique temperament and developmental stage.
I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to sleep. Every child is different, every family has different goals, and every sleep plan should reflect those differences. My role is to educate, guide, and empower parents while creating realistic, gentle, and sustainable sleep solutions that work for their family.
My approach combines science, child development, responsive caregiving, and years of hands-on experience caring for babies in their own homes. I work closely with families to identify the root causes of sleep challenges and create personalized plans that build healthy sleep habits while respecting each family's parenting style.

My background extends beyond sleep coaching. As a Certified Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and Postpartum Nutrition Specialist, I understand how feeding, development, medical history, temperament, and family dynamics all influence healthy sleep.
This comprehensive perspective allows me to support families with practical, individualized recommendations—not just sleep schedules.
It's about helping your child develop healthy, age-appropriate sleep habits while giving parents the confidence to respond to their child's needs with consistency, understanding, and compassion.
Whether you're preparing for your baby's arrival, navigating the newborn months, facing frequent night wakings, transitioning away from contact naps, or helping your toddler sleep independently, I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
Because when your child sleeps well, your whole family thrives.
I look forward to helping your family get the restful sleep you deserve.
